Cave –
The place of
Transformation

There is a universal wisdom which underlies all of the world’s religions and which says that the natural world is pervaded by the spiritual world.

Materialism has elevated the human part of the ‘great chain of being’ at the expense of the natural and the spirit world. However, humans are that part of creation which is conscious of the natural world and praises the creator.

So, why have humans used caves as places of ritual?

What psychological and spiritual difference would it make to us if we were ‘in touch’ with the natural world as ecology and as revelation?

Could it be that the geology of caves is a metaphor for human experience?

Do the myths associated with caves parallel their geology?

                                                     Is there a psychological significance to caves?

* geology

* mythology

* psychology

* divine manifestation

                                          help us to understand caves as sites of spiritual activity?
